TK9 - Free Basic Course!

Hi everyone, I hope you're well and that summer is going great despite the heat!

In this period I have done various things, but the reason why I am writing is to let you know that I have created the “ TK9 – BASIC COURSE ” for all those who want to approach the world of Luminosity Masks and the techniques applied to landscape post-production.

This is a course that has never been created before in Italian and is in some ways innovative.

Another important thing is that this is an absolutely FREE course!

You can download it from my site: https://www.nicoruffato.net/tk9-corso-base or from Tony Kuyper's site at the Italian page: https://goodlight.us/panels-and-videos-italian.html

The course is divided into 8 chapters lasting two hours in total, many aspects are covered:

  • Photoshop Basics: Selections, Masks, and Layers.

  • Luminosity Masks explained in detail. Manually creating masks helps you understand the potential of these tools within PS.

  • How to download and install TK9 plugin.

  • The CX module “preferences” are explained in detail. Each module has a preferences window that allows the user to customize the various panels.

  • The workflow for working with luminosity masks is illustrated: 1) creating the mask, 2) modifying the mask (if necessary), 3) using the mask to modify the image.

  • Final Exercise. In this chapter, a complete workflow is used to process a photo using all the concepts covered in the course and more. The TK9s are used to realize the final artistic vision.

  • Download the Raw image to replicate the workflow.

  • Mp4 video files

  • Video resolution 1920 x 1080 HD (870mb download)

This is a job that I care a lot about and am proud of.

The aim is to introduce as many people as possible to the use of these techniques and to Tony Kuyper's TK9 plug-in, which represents the world-wide and constantly evolving reference for the use of Luminosity Masks and more.

I look forward to hearing from you in the comments, let me know what you think of this initiative or if you have other suggestions and proposals for future projects.

A hug, see you soon!

Nico
